This promotional poster and editorial design for National Geographic features two out of the 101 inventions that have shaped our world: the typewriter and zipper. Through type and illustration, I wanted to convey a sense of movement through the history of each object that also nuances their essence and functionality. Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign were utilized in creating all vector graphics and cohesiveness among the layouts.
